Week 80 in Mexico

Well, this week was pretty good. We didn't baptize but we realized some things that we were not doing and we repented and we felt strongly the spirit with us. We went out to work and we were passing by the house of some old investigators and I felt that we had to go. So we knocked on the door and they said, 'where have you been? We have been waiting for you to come all week.' We taught them about the sabbath day and promised them a lot of blessings and I really felt the spirit so strongly. They accepted to go to church and they went and they loved it. They accepted a date for the 14 of may!!! It is a couple. Their names are Armando and Claudia. They are really cool and way excited!! So we are pumped about that and I have really learned that when we repent and teach with the spirit is when the spirit testifies to the people and they accept commitments. After we went to a couple of other lessons but I didn't feel that same spirit. I was really feeling bad because I couldn't feel that same spirit. So in the night I did an examine of myself and I thought of the whole day and what I did and didn't do to have that spirit with me. I also listened to the talk of Bednar, "Receive the Holy Ghost" and I learned really what I must do every morning and night to be able to have that spirit and throughout the whole day. There are so many things that can make the spirit go so very quickly. We must be very careful.

This Sunday there were like 70 people in the ward!! There were like 45 when I got here. With our baptisms and some less actives that we are helping, we are building this ward up again. It needs a lot of help, lets just put it that way.

I have no idea what will happen with the members. The pres is thinking about letting me train a new kid. And they are starting to lower the zone leaders two changes before they go. So I think it's almost a definite that I am getting changed. But who knows with the pres. He pulls some weird stuff out for the changes. I kind of want to train a new kid, I think that would be fun and cool to help him start off his mish on the right foot.

We will talk more on Sunday. I will prepare some cool stories to tell you guys.

I love you all and thank you for being the best fam ever. And thanks for your prayers. We will be seing each other before you know it!!
