Guadalajara
Hey, I am getting changed to Ciudad Guzman--City Guzman. Yeah, I have the sickest house ever and my comp is sweet too. The house used to be a house of prayer, and I am in a branch. We have a basketball court out back and a font in our house too. haha. It's awesome. I feel that we are going to have a lot of success here in this area and there are already some who are progressing and ready to get baptized. My comp's name is Elder Mckell and he is from Draper, Utah. He is way sweet and he is still looking for his first baptism. We are going to get him pumped up this change and he is ready to work. He only has one change like Elder Sevier, my other comp. We live with the zone leaders and they are way sweet. Well, I only know one but he is cool. And there are 6 in my district.
We had another baptism on Friday. She is a niece of a member and her family was less active but now they are coming back to church!!!
Well I am trying to work on a lot of things as a missionary. The main thing right now is listening to the spirit and acting boldly upon what I receive. Many times we listen and we say that we will do it later, but that is what I am trying to change. Many times missionaries feel like they should contact someone and they don't do it or that they should get up in front of a bus and contact everyone but they don't do it, and really I have fallen in there too. There is something special in the patriarchal blessing that talks about following the spirit and how as I follow the promptings I will be able to recognize it more and more in my life. I ask for your prayers as I develop this gift.
That is way cool that you got that job, and I hope that you get Olympus, that would be way cool. How is Jessie doing??
Love you so much...
Thanks for your advice--it has held me up in the mission...
