Wow, it sounds like everyone had a great week and Anna’s farewell went really well. Well, I feel like an idiot because for the whole week I was praying for Anna because I thought she was already in the MTC . . . haha But it’s all good, the Lord knows my good intentions.
We finally had our two baptisms and we got them married!!!! It took us forever but with the help of the Lord, He made it possible. We have to come back to see them. They have had such a big change in their lives--it is unreal. I have loved being a part of their conversion. We picked them up yesterday to go to church and they turned to us and told us that they really couldn't thank us enough for what we had done. I started to tear up when I heard that. I thought of D&C 18 that talks about the joy you will feel if you bring people to the truth. Really I have felt that so strongly with them. They were going to stay until the end of may but they decided to go back this Saturday!! So quick and we still have so much to teach them so that they are prepared. But I know I have done my part and the Lord will keep on blessing them if I keep on praying for them. Pray for them!!! I don’t want them to fall off the track like so many converts we see do. And we baptized them in the ocean. Yeah, thas right . . . I am sending some pics that are pretty sick--I am not going to lie. I feel so dumb because I write on a little paper what happened in the week so that I can remember everything, but I forgot it. I will try to remember. . .
First of all I sent a package last Monday and they said it should arrive in about 2 weeks. It has some old books and planners and my first journal and a couple little things for Meg and Mike. I really want you to film mike when he opens the package because I know he is going love it. And then a little something for Mom for Mother’s Day and a couple little things for Jess.
I have been reading Preach My Gospel more thoroughly and I have found a lot of things in chapter 8 that we have not been doing in planning that we need to do to have a more effective week. The elders before had never taught me this stuff, so I am kind of just teaching myself. I know we will see more results and more success with the way that I have found. I am in 3 Nephi 22 and I am loving it. The part when Christ came to the Americas and he said so many things so profound.
Mom, yes it’s the family Muñoz. And actually that would be cool if you could send some stickers to them of the Book of Mormon because their daughter is planning on going on a mission. And yeah, just whatever plate you think would be good, I don’t know. But I have to get going. I love you all and know that you are all safe in the hands of the Lord. Don’t worry about me down here in Mexico--see 3 Nephi 21:10. . . that really comforted me when I read that.
