Well this week we worked hard and we didn't meet our goal to have 4 in church. That is our goal as a mission. We only had 2. Because if you look at the dats, if you have 4 new every week, it is likely that 3 of the 4 wont get baptized and 1 will… but we only had 2. One still doesn't want to get baptized and the other one is the one that will be baptized this week. His name is Sergio. He is really cool and his family is a part member family so we are working with them too. It was really cool to see how he accepted so easily the baptismal challenge. We found him in old investigators in the area book and the 2nd visit we had with him he accepted.!!! He is way cool.
I did feel sad for a little bit because we didn't have others in church. Because when we don't have others it means that in the up coming weeks there wont be baptisms. And I was just thinking and reflecting this week and what we did to help our investigators get to church. We did all we could. And then we sung, God speed the right, and in Spanish it says exactly what I needed to hear in that moment so I felt a little better after that. We actually could have one for the 25 because we are teaching some people that have already been a couple of times and they just need a little push. So we are praying for them. There names are Yolanda, and Adolfo. They are really good people but they just need to feel something in their hearts to make that jump.
Well yesterday a 20 year old girl almost kissed me on the cheek. A lot of people say hi or say goodbye like that. And she had no idea because it was the first time she met us. She was so embarrassed when we told her that we couldn't do that. Haha everyone was watching her and she ran out of the room. I moved back so she couldn't do it. And she wasn't fea(ugly) …haha… one month left haha….
I learned about stewardship today. I read d&c 70(I think). And the Lord tells us that we will have to give an account of our stewardship at judgement day. I was thinking of how the Lord have given me this stewardship (my area, my companion, the people, less actives, new converts, etc…) I had to meditate and I received certain things that I have neglected that I need to change. And as I do this I will prove to the Lord that I am a worthy steward. To be honest, before I came out on the mish, I had no idea what a steward was or stewardship when I read the scriptures hahaha…
I love you all and thank you all for your prayers. We need a lot of prayers as missionaries because we get down a lot or others things happen and its tough walking in the dead heat of the day, but somehow we manage to do it. We can do all that I know because of all the prayers that are offered in our behalf. thanks…
I will send you a pick next week of me with SNOOP DOG!!!!, he came to Vallarta the other day.!!!
