Well this week was pretty good we had our confirmation yesterday but we didn't baptize this week. We are going to baptize this week and kid named Axel. His mom and uncle have been members for like 9 years but they are way inactive and Elder Mckell and I have been working a lot with them and we took them to a baptism on Saturday and then to church on Sunday. We didn't have many in church on Sunday but they were there and couple of others. He is 9 and we are teaching him and throwing him down this week. Well the fast worked that we did.S he totally received an answer and knows that the BOM is true but she has a lot of fear of her parents and what they will say to her and she said that little by little she will start to understand.
I just asked my companion...'what happened this week?' and we both just said, 'nothing'... haha and just started cracking up. There was nothing out of the ordinary. but just working hard. And we actually got a lot of references this week from our new converts and members here. I have never seen the members work like this before. This town is something else.
I have no idea where we are going to be for Christmas because like 4 members have already invited us to their house to eat dinner so we will see where we end up. But Elder Harding said that at a sisters house she has free calling to the U.S. because her husband lives there so we will have to check that out.
In my reading I am in Philippians. But I am cruzing and I have to keep going to finish by the end of the year. What I have noticed is that the Bible contains a lot of the doctrine but it is just a little bit harder to notice. But I have also noticed that when I read the Bible I don’t have the same feeling when I read the BOM. There is something about the BOM that just touches your heart. For example the other day I was thinking about what we needed to teach an investigator to help her progress and the though came to me start reading the BOM. So I just started reading where I was at and in that very chapter I read what she needed!!! I think it is a book that answers every question that we have. But I am loving the Bible too with Paul...he definitely throws down.
