Week 52 in Mexico

Guadalajara

Ok, this is a little treat that I love to buy in the stores here. It's called "Negrito" . . . translation . . . "little nigger." hahahaha. I love them, they are amazing!! They stuff a bunch of chocolate into a doughnut type thing and it is amazing. I was racist before but I have changed my mind. hahaha.

Well, a sister told me the other day that her brother saw us in the bus and he is gay. I don't know him so I didn't know he was staring at us but apparently the sister told me that her brother told her that I have the face of an angel!!!! Uhhh, ya kind of wierd and I didn't know what to say, I just sat there. Ok . . . haha. Well, this week as been pretty good. It's getting colder and I now have to use my sweat shirt in the night and a couple of covers but mom, don't send blankets because packages take forever to get to the misionaries because we are not meeting as regularly. I still have not gotten the other package. But it's all good.

Well, I am thinking that I will be in the same boat as Anna. There are 17 Americans coming to the mission at the end of this change!!!! A butt load!! And I am thinking that they are going to give me a kid as they say down here. Everyone says that you learn a lot with a new missionary and it would be cool because they come all pumped-up from the MTC. But we will see what happens. The pres in my email basically told me that I am leaving here. So we will see where I go.

Well, I am way pumped because some of my converts wrote me... from vallarta. I almost started to cry because Silvana said that I gave her the greatest gift that she could have ever received. I need to keep in contact with them so I can still help them along the way. Pres. Hinkley says that we should keep in contact with them for all of our life. And that we should live worthy of their trust.

I am pretty excited--we found another family this week and the dad said he wanted to get baptized!!! We have a dad this week of a family that got baptized like 3 months ago before I got here.  He is getting baptized on the third between the conferences!!! That will be way sweet.  He works in the military.  And we have 2 or 3 more coming up.

Tell everyone hi. Love you grandpa and grandma. And tell Wise to buy a new driver already. Or did he?
