Well, we are looking for people just about everywhere. We really have not found that many that are ready for the gospel. But this is a test of our faith. We are being obedient and doing all that we know how to do so sooner or later the Lord will bless us with the people who are prepared. But it’s hard when there are not that many and when everyone flakes out and doesn’t go to church. The language is coming along, I can’t believe how much I have improved. But I know I couldn’t have come this far without the help of our Heavenly Father.
Ya, about the wedding planner, just about everyone is not married and it’s sooo annoying and most of them don’t want to get married either. Thank you all for your prayers, I can feel your support and help every day in the mission. Yes mom, I am trying to work on following the spirit in the lessons. We are studying a talk by Elder Holland called The Divine Companionship... wow, it is amazing. I have so many things to work on in the teaching, so that I can better adapt the teaching to their needs.
Well, yesterday was my first day on the mission that I felt sick. We ate fish and shrimp the day before and I think that is what did it. My head was killing and my stomach too. But it was Sunday so it was a little more relaxing. But right now I feel good. I hope it doesn’t come back.
Wow, the Lorimer kid is still in mission prep. Why didn’t I start mission prep that early.... well, can’t really start over now. Those classes are pretty sweet but they do jack for your teaching. Really they should be focusing on Preach My Gospel and the lessons. But instead we went into way deep doctrine that YOU WILL NEVER TEACH. Just my point of view.
Anyway, I am doing pretty good. I feel a little down because we don’t have that many people that are progressing but I am trying to have patience and the faith that they will come. Well, we had a district class that NEVER ENDED today. But it was good. We sat down and did an outline for every single principle in chapter 3 with questions and scriptures. That will help us out a lot so we already know what we are going to teach when we go into a lesson.
