Week 6 in Mexico

Puerto Vallarta

Hey, what up Fam? I didn’t have to go to Guadalajara this weekend so I can actually have a p day but I might have to go next weekend because the President doesn’t want us to waste time, so we can only go on p days. Anyways, a lot of things happened these last couple of weeks. Well, first of all I didn’t shut my box of cereal all the way one night and the next day I got up to pour a bowl of cereal and opened the box up and there were three lizards in there. Ha, that threw me off a little bit. We also had a huge rain storm and we got drenched. We were walking on the side of the road and a big bus drove by and totally just splashed us, it was kinda funny actually. I didn’t really care because we were already soaked. We moved houses this last week, only across the street so that wasn’t bad. It is a little bit nicer than our old one. The Pres wanted us to move because he didn’t like our old house. It was pretty bad.

Well, my talk in sacrament was maybe three minutes, if that, because we talked with two hermanas in their ward and they both took like 20 minutes. So, I went with the other zone leader Elder Huerta and we both spoke for like 6 minutes combined. But oh well, I have a whole talk written now if I need to talk about missionary work.

I gave a blessing to my comp, in English. One morning he was pretty sick so we stayed in almost all morning. That was boring slash cool at the same time, because I got to study a bunch. But I was just sitting there in our house which was the boring part-not talking to other people. But ya, I think that was my first blessing and it was pretty cool. I am learning how to give a blessing this week in Spanish so I can do that if it comes up again.

Ok so, one night we were walking home from our family home evening with some members and we saw another member in the street. We went up to talk to him and he invited us in. He was kinda having a party but it was late so we said no. There were two borachas, or in other words two drunk chicks, that walked in and told us to come in too and we said no. We shook there hands to leave and one of them came in for it. Ya, she tried to kiss me!!!! Ya good think I pulled back right in time and she missed. I was not expecting that at all! She was way out of it, but it was pretty funny.

Ok so, we have two baptism dates set for this coming week which is sweet. One guy, his name is Guadalupe, no, I’m not joking. He has been drinking and smoking for like 50 years but he wants to stop so bad, but its way hard. We took him to a baptism and to church the next day. That was way sweet. Hopefully we are going to take him to family night tonight. And this other lady named Judit. We had not taught her for like two weeks and we showed up and committed her. She seems really ready. I am not so sure about Lupe though.

Well, I hit three month mark the other day. I went and bought a big roll of Oreos and downed them all that night. Ya, I felt pretty good about it.

Halloween was really nothing different. I wasn’t really out to see anything. So really that was just another day for me. We went on splits yesterday to get some of our investigators for church and this kid told me that in 2012 they are adding golf the Olympics??? Is that right?? Because, if so, that is dope and the USA is going to own everyone else. No, I never get to go to the temple unless we request it to the Pres. We never really have time which is kinda dumb because I miss going.

Yes, this coming week is transfers and I am thinking that my comp and Elder Dorphlin will go, but we are not sure. So, I hope I know my area, which I do mas o menos but there are so many things to remember.

But ya, I am getting along with my comp and he is teaching me good ways to teach and things like that. At times I want to just punch him or his cd player because he listens to the same song over and over and over and over again and it is the worst song ever. It’s like that one EFY song, Meg you know what I am talking about, and it’s in English.

Jess that is sweet you are dancing with the Crimson Line!!!! Take some pics and send some more pics too. Not too many.

Dad I got your sign on last week that is way cool. Maybe some pics of the new house. No, I have not gotten any of your packages yet, I will probably find out at changes. I am thinking that is when we are going to go back to Guadalajara for our visas. I have not taken many pics here because there is nothing to take pics of. Unless you want to see a bunch of cholo trucks or something like that.

Mike that is a cool insight about the spirits. I was just confused in 3 Nephi, I think it like 21 and 22-I just didn’t get all what is going to happen at the second coming.

That is crazy that Sean is already home. It seems like he just left!!! That is crazy, it sounds like so many things are happening and changing back home. But it’s all for good right?
