San Vicente
Well Anna, that is crazy that your call should come this week..... I can’t believe you are going to be going out too, that will be sweet. haha
It sounds like skiing was a party. haha I still remember my first time skiing with Austin and he taught me or attempted to teach me to ski. I don’t know if he was screwing with me or what but whatever he taught me didn’t work.
Ya, I have noticed lately this past week especially, that I have come to want more and more when I study. I really could just study all day. I want to know all the secrets and everything about this church and all the interesting facts. Along with PMG I am reading a little bit of Jesus the Christ, it is awesome. The part about apostasy and Columbus and how he was inspired of God!!!!! Sweet.
I liked the pics. We don’t really have much time to write. But I am loving my area here and there are a ton of members that help us out whenever we need it. But ya, I find that many missionaries waste their time here when they could be learning and growing. Every day they are sleeping in or just being lazy. I can’t get enough of studying. And I know I am not the brightest because I think sometimes I read something and then right after I read it I forget what I just read haha!!!! Seven???? But I have applied pray to my studies asking the Lord to help me remember the things that I will need to help others come closer to Christ. But ya, and I am going to get a manual of the Book of Mormon study guide thing in Spanish from someone but, I want the others for Bible and D&C if they are in Spanish. Anna said she knew the ones I was talking about; the gray cover and there are like beams of light or something like that. But ya, I am good with everything else.
I love you all so very much and I miss you. Keep doing what you know is right, even if no one else wants to. Don’t be ashamed of being obedient because only the obedient will receive eternal life. I love you all so much and am so thankful to have a eternal family here on the earth with me to help me along the way.
Oh ya, and p.s. I ate funeral potatoes for Christmas and they were awesome. Ha, we ate at a gringo’s house and the husband hardly spoke any Spanish well, actually not at all and the wife already knew it. But ya, it was really good. And they gave us a little gift bag too.
Well I love ya bunches. Oh ya, our baptism went through with one of them and he is really strong already with his testimony but we need to make sure that is keeps on growing. But his mom said that she was scared to do it when we went to pick them up which was kind of a shock and we talked with her but I think this coming week we will baptize her.
Dad, how is work? Is it picking up at all?? Mom, how do you feel about all these changes at home; Megan getting married and Anna leaving. Jess, keep me updated on b-ball and how many crashes you get into. I think my other packages should come tomorrow in conference that we are going to have if not they are slow or something. TTFY
